Can I install your Throttle Body onto a L-Series OEM intake manifold?
Yes we recently made that possible with our V3 TB Upgrade for Stock Intake . Plug and Play to the stock intake manifold with adapter and cable kit. Simply install it onto the stock intake manifold and bolt our TB to the adapter. This would improve the looks of your engine bay, Pick up some HP, increased throttle response and improved pedal feel. This upgrade would also allow to install a modern TPS, IAT and IDLE Control Valve if your ECU Supports it.

Will my stock mechanical linkage work with your throttle Body?
No it will not, our Throttle Bodies are designed for a throttle cable and has a couple of points to mount a cable! Use our Throttle cable kit which will make your life easier and improve throttle pedal feel!

What are the ports/holes on the bottom intended for on your v2 and v3 75mm Throttle Body ?

  • There are two ports on the v2.0 75mm TB.
  • 3/8 Tube for PCV/Vacuum access port. Two bolt flange for GM IAC valve.
  • There are 3 Ports on the v3.0 75mm TB
  • 3/8 Tube for PCV/Vacuum access port. Two bolt flange for GM Idle Control Valve (IAC) valve. 3/8 NPT for GM Intake air temp sensor (IAT).

Please note on current 3.0 TB we have removed the 3/8 Vacuum Tube as most end users were not using them!

My ECU or I cannot run the IAC what do I do? Simply, attach both O-Rings supplied with IAC Block off flange (pictured above) and screw it in. Note it installs only one way.

Which Throttle Position Sensor / Switch works with your TB ? Our throttle bodies are compatible with a variety of TPS sensors, including the Z TPS, 240sx TPS, Toyota JZ TPS, and LS1 TPS, to name a few. There are likely other TPS sensors that can also be adapted. Depending on the sensor you choose, you may need to remove the set screw and install the correct TPS Shaft and or remove TPS Bracket.. Pics below

Nissan Z + SX TPS - Install the D-shaped shaft. The shaft is slightly longer to accommodate various depths. You can either grind down a portion of the shaft height or place washers between the sensor and the TPS bracket to achieve the proper fit.

Toyota JZ TPS - Remove the D-Shaped Shaft (if installed) by loosening the set screw and install the two pronged TPS Shaft. Do not install the Two pronged Shaft on to the D SHAPE ONLY INSTALL one type of shaft.

GM LS type - Remove both Shaft and TPS bracket. The TPS will install directly onto the Throttle Body.

I am experiencing a howl / whistle with my Throttle Body! What is causing this and how do I fix it?

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the whistle or howl you're experiencing with your throttle body. The issue is typically caused by the two small holes located behind the throttle plate within the throttle body. These holes, due to their sharp edges and close proximity to the throttle plate, create the unwanted noise.

It's important to note that this whistle does not occur with every installation, but we understand it can be bothersome. To address this, the recommended solution is to remove the throttle body from the intake, then carefully deburr and chamfer the two holes using a Dremel tool. The aluminum material is soft, making it relatively easy to remove the necessary material. Please refer to the image below for guidance.

If the issue persists, a larger modification to the holes may be necessary. Alternatively, installing a GM 3/8 NPT IAT sensor into the bottom threaded port within the throttle body can help disrupt the airflow in the affected area, which may resolve the issue.

Additional Notes:

  • The whistle typically does not occur when using our adapter with a stock intake, but it may arise when paired with our intake manifold.
  • For those affected by this issue, we will provide the IAT sensor at no cost.
  • If you're unable to perform the above-mentioned adjustments, we can send a return label and complete the modification for you.
  • Additionally, we are currently developing a v3.0 Rev B throttle body that will address this issue permanently.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to improve our products. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need further assistance.
